Lambing Experiences

Experience the Joy of Lambing on Our Farm!

Lambing Experiences 2026

We invite you to us for Lambing 2026 on our working family farm in Somerset!
This is a rare chance to take part in a hands-on lambing experience that’s small, personal, and authentic. Unlike large commercial farm tours, our sessions are relaxed, educational, and designed to give you a true insight into the magical world of lambing.

With over 100 lambs due in spring 2026, there will be plenty to see, learn, and enjoy during your visit.

What to Expect on Your Lambing Experience

Each experience follows the natural rhythm of the farm, so no two visits are ever the same. Here’s a taste of what you might enjoy:

  • Checking on the Pregnant Ewes

Start your visit by checking our expectant ewes. With a bit of luck, you may even witness a live lambing – guided by Tamsyn, our experienced shepherdess.

  • Visiting the Lambing Nursery

Step into the nursery and meet our new-born lambs, each settling in with their mothers in cosy pens. This is where the special bond between ewe and lamb begins.

  • Cuddling Orphan Lambs

Our playful orphan lambs love attention! In the pet pen, you’ll have the chance to hold, feed, and cuddle them – a highlight for children and adults alike.

  • Exploring the Fields

Depending on the day, we may head out into the fields to see older lambs and ewes enjoying the fresh grass and open skies of Somerset.

  • Helping with Lambing Chores

Roll up your sleeves and join in with the daily farm tasks:

  • Bedding down pens

  • Feeding sheep and lambs

  • Topping up water troughs

It’s a chance to experience the reality of farm life during lambing season.
